The GREENCHEM project, selected for funding under the Erasmus+ Programme
We are pleased to announce that the project “GREENCHEM – Network of Centres of Vocational Excellence in Green and Digital Chemistry” has been selected for funding under the Erasmus+ Programme, as part of the Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) call for proposals.
This is an extremely competitive call, with a success rate of less than 5%, which highlights the European Commission’s high standards in terms of both technical quality and expected impact. The selection of GREENCHEM therefore reflects the project’s strong potential to contribute to the transformation of vocational training in the field of green and digital chemistry.
The project will be coordinated by UCAM (Catholic University of Murcia) and has benefited from Skills Divers’ leadership in drafting the proposal, consolidating its role as an expert organisation in the design and development of high-level European projects.
GREENCHEM aims to create a European network of excellence in vocational training focused on sustainable chemistry, promoting innovation, digitalisation and the connection between education, industry and research. Through this approach, the project aims to foster new key skills aligned with the green transition and the needs of the labour market.
The selection of GREENCHEM not only recognises the soundness of its approach, but also reflects the European Commission’s high expectations regarding results, impact and long-term sustainability.
This achievement reinforces Skills Divers’ commitment to excellence in European projects and its ability to contribute to the development of strategic initiatives at an international level.
