Overview
XRGREEN.CON aims to promote circular economy sections in construction, showcasing examples, best practices, and lessons to be learned through interactive educational simulations using Augmented and Virtual Reality. We will train teachers in the sector to be skilled in the use of Extended Reality and circular sections to design and develop student-centered experiences. It will allow stakeholders working in the sector to experience and practice real-life situations in virtual simulation on how to make construction more sustainable.
Project results:
1) A joint curriculum and online content for trainers that will enable them to create new experiences using Extended Reality.
2) A set of 20 exercises to train different steps in the construction sector, including tips on waste recovery, circular economy, and recycling.
3) Impact on agents in the construction sector and vocational training through a series of dissemination activities, including webinars, presentations at conferences, and other online and local promotional activities.
